About the Artist

Micol Hebron is an artist, activist, and professor in California specifically based in Los Angeles. She teaches studio art and professional gallery practices at Chapman University. She also runs several feminist programs. She believes that art can help us in a vision a future from the quote Angela Davis said. She graduated from UCLA with a master of fine art in new genres and contemporary art history. Joseph Delappe is an American artist who also got his masters in fine art. The main difference between Joseph and Micol is that Joseph creates huge sculptures with a political meaning behind them.

Formal Analysis

Hebron’s art is very neat and beautiful. I saw a gallery of hers that showed a feminine setting. The colors were very calming and comprehended one another. The texture was smooth and the panting consisted of muted pastel colors. It wasn’t tiny it was a pretty big canvas that clearly shows what was painted.
