Wk 12 — Art Activity — New Friend

I did not know my partner at all before this activity.

I feel like I know my partner well enough and can consider them a new friend.

This does seem like a way to make new connections in a time of pandemic isolation because we can talk and get to know each other without seeing each other physically.

Another way to make new connections in a time of pandemic isolation is through Instagram. You can keep up with someone's life without actually seeing them.

The platform we used was discord. It worked well we were able to have a virtual conversation. Another tool that would have been fun is Snapchat because you can snap pictures of what you are doing, however, that may be too personal for some people who like to keep their life private which is why I think texting is the best option.

I loved working with padlet. It was easy to use. It also communicated well because I was able to use pictures and gifs. I think this was the best platform to use because it was easy to make an account and get straight to work.

If my goal was professional connections, I would contact people through email and schedule a zoom meeting. My friends/family members who have work with big companies use zoom as it is the most professional way to communicate without giving too much information.
